Well
I guess if Mack is going to fear the run, at least he is going to be honest about it.

Things are looking good so far
Would have like to see them go for it with 12 seconds left
"I don't ever miss free throws. I'm like 100-percent from the free throw line. I just don't think about missing and if you think about missing you're going to miss. I just take my time and know I'm going to make it and I do," McClellan said.
should have been 14 seconds on the clock, right? we spiked the ball, clock stopped at 12 seconds. turns out there was a pre-snap illegal substition on KU. we got the 5 yards, but didn’t get the 2 seconds back for a play that never happened.

BTW
It’s not foggy, it Mangino stomping all the water out of the Earth.

It's frickin' hilarious how Titan fans were berating VY so much until recently
… now they’re actually winning games

+1
…I see him and I keep thinking, “DAMN that guy’s obese”
I don’t know I could listen to a guy like that if I were a player.
TEXAS FIGHT
he’s seriously going to have a coronary

Wow are you f-ing kidding me
Mack doesn’t have confidence in the offense getting 4 yards?
by goingforthecorner on Nov 21, 2009 9:15 PM CST reply actions
may also have simply seen it at as a good chance to check out mccoy’s pooch kick….
by Displaced Longhorn on Nov 21, 2009 9:17 PM CST up reply actions
it's nice to see Colt get some fire in him.
but I think he plays better when he’s relaxed
Can't watch the game...

Colt is definitely in the game
not sure about his O-line

they are such a disappointment
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
very hard to intercept…. also hard to catch

Briscoe is owning us
might as well keep feeding him

wow. corners struggling tonight
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
halftime adjustment drive
disregard
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
That pooch kick didn't work out
KU just scored a TD on an 88 yard drive. Still don’t get that decision. Are we playing to win?

colt called the play at the line…. GD had a bathroom break
by Displaced Longhorn on Nov 21, 2009 9:28 PM CST up reply actions
I like Chiles, but...
that TD is exactly why Malcolm, and not JC, should be on the field
the man, the myth, the legend.
not to be THAT guy, but...
wasn’t the best deep ball from Colt
Yeah, under thrown and off to the inside but he was open enough to..
make the adjustment and still take it to the house..
curtis is unravelling
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
boom seems to be dialing up lotta blitz tonight...and mangino is keep countering w/ slants and short passes
our poor tackling doesnt really help..
COACH BOOM BABY!!
it absolutely blows my mind...
how incredibly fat Mangino is. I mean, it’s unreal! the man has 8 chins
Bama and Florida's D will have a field day with our O-line and GD.
Nebraska will give us fits too
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
gotta get rid of that
had all night
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
The Nebraska game
looks pretty scary given our O-line. It’s probably going to be like the OU game.
by goingforthecorner on Nov 21, 2009 9:39 PM CST reply actions
Colt has his stats
We need to go back to trying to score and not just throw every play
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
Great scramble
he’s got to do it all.
I’m worried that he’s going to get gun shy due to his O-line. He might get scramble-happy.

linemen all fall down or stand around
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
past success. will soon change
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
Tanner had a chance to blow up the LB and got knocked off his feet
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
It may just be me trying to look on the bright side of things...
but part of the problem is we just don’t look all that excited about this game. A&M will be different and the Big 12 title game will definitely be different. I can’t believe we’ll play like this again the rest of the season.
I'm worried
you can’t just flip the switch on. It doesn’t work like that. Colt is pissed off for a reason.
by goingforthecorner on Nov 21, 2009 9:43 PM CST up reply actions
Every time we go 5 WR, they blitz.
How come they can protect in 5 wide and we can’t??
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
I'd rather play Nebraska than K-State
K-State has had our number in the past and we seem to have Nebraska’s number
Is it sad that we're #3 and scared of two unranked teams because our line is terrible?
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
Stanford down by 6 on the Cal 13
Less than 2 mins left
OL is soft and clumsy
horrible combo
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
I've never seen Colt this frustrated before
especially in a game where we’re winning by 3 TDs

isn't it awesome?
we ARE kicking ass and can still things to bitch about. that’’s the sign of a great program.
Husker fans throwing Horns down in Lincoln
sigh

Still A Beautiful Night
1. Colt sets all time win record
2. Horns clinch Big XII South
3. Nice night for Stiffarm Trophy
4. Nice night for Groza
Is the Big 12 CCG at the Cotton Bowl?
or Jerry World?

if ET stays the next 2 years...
will he be the best Earl to ever put on the burnt orange?
scratch that, he would have to be absolutely fucking phenominal. 2 years is alot of time, but i dont think earl thomas could do it.

by Displaced Longhorn on Nov 21, 2009 9:57 PM CST up reply actions
Uh...maybe A&M but no way on Nebraska
I’m sorry, but have you seen their offense? We don’t need to worry about our D in that game…it’s our OLine that might be in trouble
the man, the myth, the legend.
I seriously think GD calls plays based on the stats he wants to finish the game with
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
im saying he might talk his way into playing
i wouldnt mind seeing GG…GD will try to get us our rushing to 100 so it looks respectable…
COACH BOOM BABY!!
Same here, our O line is not going to be a big enough problem against nebraska
They’re going to get raped.
TEXAS FIGHT
Kick coverage has been awful. Cyrus Grey will be running through my nightmares this week.
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
absolute shit tackling

Might as well go for the onside kick

is it just me or has texas struggled on kickoff coverage for a while
i remember in the rose bowl vs michigan getting absolutely torched by steve breaston
- i think just lightly pushed briscoe instead of trying to wrap him up….. shitty
by Displaced Longhorn on Nov 21, 2009 10:03 PM CST reply actions
Well - We Are a Work In Progress
But I am starting to give up that this team will click in all phases at the right time
they only have to do it once
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
Excellent blocks? More like missed tackles on that run back.
Special teams has not looked good today.
That special teams advantage we enjoyed early seems to be disappearing
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
2nd string special teams are in….

Why not run the ball instead of throw sideways?
by Dawnpatrol on Nov 21, 2009 10:06 PM CST via mobile reply actions
cause we run the ball sideways… with cojo

johnson and newton have played the entire game, what carousel do you speak of?

51 in a game where our line has been beat isn't too shabby, but I'm still a little scared of the D's we have ahead
'Til Gabriel blows his horn...
That's the only thing I want to know....
Hopefully not serious. If it is, then we gotta move ET to the nickel and put Brewster in at left safety.
Our O-line won't be good enough to beat the SEC champ
We could still beat Bama or Florida, but it’d be with turnovers or a return or two. IMO
And some guy on ABC says winner of Oregon-Arizona has clear path to the Rose Bowl
Is he nuts? Arizona plays ASU (I’ve heard that’s a rivalry of some sort) and USC. Clear path, other than the alligators and minefields and quicksand.
Earl Sucks
Can’t even juke the punter.
This guys is amazing.
wow.
that should have gone
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
Nice return by ET...
Gotta make one quick move and use your speed to get around the punter. He got too cute there and make multiple moves to get around the punter. Shipley takes that one to the house.
Please can we have one more year with Earl?
Disciplina Praesidium Civitatis.
now GG is in
what in the world are we doing
by goingforthecorner on Nov 21, 2009 10:21 PM CST up reply actions
Very sentimental move
I think it’s great what they’re doing. They’re giving everyone a chance to play in the last home game of the year, and senior day.
Congrats to all the seniors. On to A&M, Nebraska, and our BCS bowl.
3 more wins and we can all party like it’s 2004!
and benching 600, maddawg is fat athletic….. mangino was a giant blueberry
