Tre Newton gets the start at RB for The A&M Game
Seems our RB carousel contines. I have to admit, I'm glad to see this. Thoughts?

I’d love to see some consistency. Regardless of player. I’d just love to see some consistency.
That said, I really root for Tre. Every time I watch him, it just seems to me that he works real hard at all the little things. Not that the others don’t, but I just really like Tre.
Listed, but....
Will he get the first carry? It’s kind of like “whatever” ? There needs to be some symmetry and fast. I can’t imagine going into a Big XII championship and MNC without this RB position being settled? It’s been 11 games Major & GD. What’s up?
I’m a bit surprised he might start for this one of all games, but it is pretty exciting. Kid’s going to be really good over the next couple seasons.

I wouldn't interpret this as a shift in the coaches' confidence
I really am beginning to suspect that the coaches adjust the starter depending on what they want to do on offense against a particular team, and not so much on competition between the players. I would guess they want the versatility and more reliable blocking. Could be wrong.

Right On
I think it has to be gameplan. Tre is a game breaker on the screens and makes for a Chris O type threat as a hot drop off receiver.
