We spotted them 14 points in the first half. 7 on the blown coverage and 7 on the punt fumble.

GD was fine that half. I’m hesitant to criticize Muschamp too much because that brainfart from Chykie is not his fault and neither is that flukey punt, but we can’t allow a QB to be that efficient. Holy crap.

in which we have to travel to College Station, all throughout the week of the A&M game, our fans laugh at the Aggies and proclaim an easy victory, and on every occasion, we play our worst game of the season there. When will we ever learn? We haven’t dominated A&M at Kyle Field even once in my entire lifetime.
That muffed punt was freak and unavoidable, I must admit. I think if that doesn’t happen we’re up 28-14 and in much better control. Why does it seem those things always happen to us in rivalry games and never for us?

In any case
whatever governs how we start the game doesn’t govern how we respond. This team has seen ugly scoreboards before and pulled it out in the end. Game ain’t over yet.
To save 54b the trouble
I wrote a long and, I must confess, not entirely sober reply to this. I’ve edited it down thusly:
In 1995 we went into Kyle Field as massive underdogs at the height of the A&M ascendency and broke their will to live. Brackens, Ricky, etc, had massive games. It was the clarion call that Texas Football was rising once again.
It has happened in your lifetime. Everything you see before you started that day.
Today was a great reminder, that if we let up our guard, they will be on us in a moment. Next year looks like a battle for the ages.
But for now: 12 and 0, two games to go. Hook ’em!.

D needs to step up. put lets give colt a hand for a HUGE 1st half to keep us ahead. my god.

We've had a lot of chances
We’ve given them away. I did not like the fake (I thought we should go for it but with our regular offense), and while it was a good pooch punt, I thought we had a chance to get that first down there too and come away with points. They can’t stop us; they’re praying that we punt the ball.

Ingram is better than the backs on either Florida or A&M
But Fuller and Tannehill are both legit NFL guys. Florida doesn’t have two NFL receivers, nor does Bama. I’d take Johnson over Tebow, but I can see that either way. If Bama had Johnson (or McCoy or Tebow) they’d be the MNC favorite.
Of course, the Florida and Bama players have the advantage of significantly better offensive lines.

This type of win is just what we needed
Rivalries are rivalries and this game had alot of additional meaning to Ags. They always get up for us. Let’s not forget that Tennessee gave Florida all they could handle at the Swamp before Florida edged them. This was a great test of our will to win, in a huge rivalry, and on the road. Nebraska’s in trouble.. Oh and OU still sucks..
