2010 Five-star RB verbals to Auburn
Nope, not Lache. Michael Dyer of Arkansas, #17 in the Rivals 100, verbals to Auburn.
Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic: what's the impact of this on Lache's decision, and if he were to warm back up to UT like Cobbs did, would the coaches (or you, the fan) want him?

In a word: No
Everything I’ve seen about Lache is “Me, Me, Me”. He goes against everything Mack has built in Austin.
I graduated from Temple and want nothing more than for THS grads to do well. But I don’t want to see this one wearing Burnt Orange. May he succeed somewhere else.

He's going to LSU
“Lache Seastrunk University” as he puts it.

We have no way of knowing whether Lache has snubbed
UT coaches, been rude to them, stayed out of contact, told them he’s not interested, said he might get back to them . . . we don’t know any of that. If the talks have been cordial, if not warm, then maybe Mack is in the hunt. My strong sense is that’s not the case.
In a strange way, I think the Darrell Scott transfer helps UT. Coaches can illustrate how hard it is to go a long way from home; in Austin, Seastrunk is an hour from home. LSU can’t say that.

Ugh
I would argue in Russian, but for some reason this computer doesn’t have the Cyrillic keyboard option that I use.
You win.

No!
But I can’t wait to see Traylon Shead tear it up for us.
Good grab for Auburn, and I hope that Dyer works out for them so they can beat FL and some of the other SEC powers.
As to LS, good luck to him at an appropriate school that likes his type of self-promotion. Thank goodness we Longhorns will not be involved in that drama.

I look forward to seeing this kid in D-1.
I agree. I think he is the real deal.

well,
I have no interest in UT pursuing him, but I don’t think Mack should kick him out of bed for eating crackers either.

I actually wouldn't be totally opposed to LS in Austin...
…although I’d prefer that he not be if he’s going to make everything a look-at-me opportunity.
Honestly, though, I don’t think there’s much of a difference between the kind of success UT could have with LS and someone like Tre Newton. The offense could use a Jamaal Charles, but I’m not sure there’s much point when the passing attack is working so well.
