My pleasure, of course.
Although, had I stayed in, I would’ve been in Texas serving as a drill sergeant right now. And I use the word “Texas” loosely there, because I would’ve been in San Angelo.
Anyway, I decided not to go through selling the house and uprooting the family again, and just went over to the contractor world. Eight years is enough, and I’m a bucket of bolts at this point with my back, knees, and some internal stuff related to a combat injury. But I have the Army to thank for a lot of things, like meeting Mrs. BOH to learning how to be a good student and worker to picking up a great career.

Colt has looked hesitant running the ball all year...
really easy to get hurt running like that…
Yeah really weird, in past years he seemed not careful enough
But now he really is playing a bit scared

Bad time management on both sides
We should have called a time out, UCF should have milked more time before the punt

disagree
he was running open behind the D. Gotta put it out in front of him or deliver it before Kirk broke
Sure, in a perfect world if the ball was thrown perfectly but
the receiver has turn into the DB and break up the pass at worst in this situation.
A receiver
should never have to fight for a ball that is thrown at belt level, behind him
Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
Kirkendoll has been a marginal effect last 3 games. Just not a playmaker right now.
"We don't freestyle Texas Fight, big boy." - Coach Brown
That was a little bit of both
It should have been a better throw, but Kirk also lazily waited for the ball.

Poor tackling in first quarter by our D
and sloppy on offense with a missed field goal on offense.

pretty good example of stats being for losers.
Those are champioship quality numbers but not in the arena of a championship performance outta colt
21-3 would have been better...

Should have been 28-0. Or better.
God. Play down to your competition some more, Colt.
In-VINCE-able.
the score
doesn’t really match the stats in this one.
chalk that up to losing the turnover and penalty battles.
Not just the last drive
- Couple of questionable play calls
- Bad decisions on a couple of occasions by Colt
- UCF running effectively
= Texas not in control
UCF running effectively?
I think I missed that one. We’re controlling. We’re not dominating the way we should or want.

mack blames the colt pick on the wind?
3/19/2009 - Dogus Balbay Made a Three-Pointer. Never Forget.
I found that funny too
considering he threw it on a line. Usually the wind affects balls thrown higher.

Defense
does a great job of time management using the timeouts perfectly, and the offense acts like they’re trying to run the clock out.
the defense giveth
and the offense fucketh it up.
Yes
UF, UCF, and USF are all huge schools. Explosive population growth and cheap tuition leads to things like that.

And Heisman candidate Colt gets picked on an easy TD throw? Ugh.

In addition
He underthrew the long pass to Shipley the play before.
Which means they'll end up winning by 20.

This is & always was a trap game
In the middle of conference, notoriously slow-starting Texas team, etc.
I’ll take a 14-3 halftime lead & run.
i dont buy the trap game thing
and even if it was, all of the focus this week has been on how we need to keep from being complacent.
That said, 14-3 and a nice long drive to start the 2nd half isn’t the worst thing.
INT
is really going to hurt Colt’s heisman chances. 15 tds and 9 INTs is too much. Hopefully he puts on 3 TDs in the second half but i doubt it
Colt's heisman chances
I just want to forget about the heisman. let somebody else have it. colt’s best games this season have come after he dropped off all those lists.
let's keep in mind that colt is 3 or 4 wins away from being the winningest QB in CF history

lets take control of this
i think the D will stand tall, but wouldlike ot see the offense get some big plays. Seems like the roll out is freeing up the receivers.
Yes, ucf is big and full of hotties who know their way around a pole.
Hook ’em!
2nd half
It’s time to take UCFs desire away from them..long, steady 2nd half drive boys!
