Florida star end Dunlap arrested for DUI
Not to cast stones or anything, but:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kameg said officers found Dunlap's car stopped at a green light.
"They approached the car and found the suspect slumped over in the driver's seat," Kameg said. "He appeared to be asleep. The car's windows were cracked so they attempted to wake him up. They talked to him and he would only open his eyes for a few seconds and then fall back asleep."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This could potentially cost him a lot of money and the team an impact defensive player for the conference championship and bowl games.

Urban Meyer must be pulling his hair out
He’s got a tough decision to make.

He suspended Spikes a half-game
Not sure how much to expect of the dirtbag at this point. He’s heading the way of Erickson or 1990s Bowden.

He is indeed
He just lost control of the program when they were the Criminoles in the 90s.

There is no way he can justify
not suspending him for at least the SEC Championship. Really, he should be suspending him for the remainder of the season. However I highly doubt that will happen.

I heard a prediction on the suspension:
Meyer could punish heavy-handedly by suspending Dunlap for every offensive snap AND the coin toss.

UF doesn’t mess around with DUI’s apparently. Maybe Texas should adopt a similar policy so we don’t have to keep hearing about our players getting arrested.

ugh
replace the second “good” with “could.”

Even better:
Henry James explanation of how this happened was that Tebow was handing Dunlap a water bottle, but accidentally turned it into wine.

Doesn't look like it's a "good chance"
It looks like the university policy allows for that as a possible punishment. There doesn’t seem to be a precedent for it. There does seem to be a precedent for the administration to kick an athlete off the team for a DUI, though, so that could definitely happen. The precedent mentioned in that thread, Locke, was of legal drinking age, so that could be a key distinction.
