McCoy, Shipley and Thomas Earn First Team All-Conference Selections
Even with the best defense in the conference, Texas only has one first team selection. Nebraska's defense was represented by four players. I think you'll see a little extra motivation on Saturday night.

Aside from the first team selections
Hall, Ulatoski, Muck, Kindle and Houston earned 2nd team honors.
Here are the honorable mentions
Texas Emmanuel Acho, LB; Sam Acho, DL; Curtis Brown, DB; Blake Gideon, DB; Kyle Hix, OL; Michael Huey, OL; Sergio Kindle, Def. Lmn. of Yr.; Hunter Lawrence, PK; Alex Okafor, Def. Fr. of Yr.; Keenan Robinson, LB; Jordan Shipley, PR/KR; Charlie Tanner, OLChykie, Aaron and Randall/Alexander are the only regulars on defense not listed.

Can't really argue the picks
Muck would have been nice, but the 3 LBers are all deserving. Houston should have been there, but you’ve got to pick 3 tackles for that to happen. Thought Lawrence got a bad deal not making first or second team. No big deal: If we shut out Nebraska, that’ll be better than 6 first-teamers on defense.
The BC guys disagree...
They are really railing on it over there.
I can’t believe Aaron Williams is nowhere to be found. Dominique Franks as 1st team? Jordan Lake as 2nd team? Blake Gideon as Honorable Mention? No Aaron Williams? Ok, I guess credibility isn’t everything.
Kindle should have been 1st team, but agree that Houston was never going to pass Suh and McCoy.
How does Brody Eldridge make 2nd team OL? I was going to question Hall and Ulatoski’s inclusion until I saw Brody’s name!
OU had 11 guys on 1st or 2nd team…we had 8. This was really a big middle finger to Texas from the old Big 8.
