Mack's 100th Big XII game
Congratulations to Mack Brown for leading his team in its 100th game against Big XII opponents. I haven't seen any mention of this milestone from the AAS or any other outlet. With the win over Nebraska, his conference record now stands at a robust 82-18, including Big XII title game appearances. See the breakdown after the jump.
We've all heard about Mack's unbeaten record against Baylor and Oklahoma State, but his record against the entire league (minus K-State) has been incredible.
The North:
Nebraska: 7-1
Kansas: 6-0
Mizzou: 6-0
Colorado: 7-1
Iowa State: 6-0
Kansas State: 2-4
The big stat here is Mack is 30-0 against the non-K-State teams in the regular season. Think about that for a second. Not one slipup.
The South:
A&M: 9-3
Tech: 9-3
Baylor: 12-0
Ok St: 12-0
OU: 6-6
Even with his .500 percentage against the Sooners, Mack is still winning 80% of his games against the South. While his two conference titles in 12 seasons will continue to be his one wart, no one can argue with the rest of Mack Brown's numbers at Texas. He truly has built a program that all Longhorns can be immensely proud of.

Nice stat. Thanks.
Darrell Royal’s SWC record while coaching Texas was 109-27-2.
In one six-year stretch, DKR’s teams were 40-1 in conference (loss to Arkansas in 1971) in a stretch going from 1968 thru 1973.

I wonder why Texas has had issues with K-State. 5-5 all time. Luck?
Credit the Wildcats
And it’s not just Snyder; Mack lost twice to Prince(?). Losing to that bunch (2006 excepted) hurts a lot less than losing to Aggie or Sooner or Cornhusker.
