So Where are your Seats?
Mine are: Section 25H Row 46 These are endzone seats upper level.
I was able to purchase the tickets after my option was exercised through FirstDibz.
For those traveling to the mBCS national championship game in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl on January 7, 2010.
How did most of you obtain tickets? I assume there are plenty that did my route and there are plenty of others with connections, Texas ticket lottery, just got them off of Ticketmaster (lucky!) and so forth.
I can't wait to see you there. We might do the ESPN tailgate ($25) instead of the Texas Exes tailgate to save some $$$. I don't mind being drunk but I'd rather not be completely wasted for the game.
I'll see y'all in Pasadena!

Too cheap to fly.
Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
which is why i've been saving up for gas money
and roping in friends to ride up with me (equates to $75 roundtrip).

Have you ever driven to LA? Where are you coming from?
Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
I've driven to L.A. more times than I can count
I have relatives in Bakersfield, so we used to take 10 all the way from west Houston. I’ll be driving from Houston the night before and leaving on the 5th from ATX.

Got mine through Dibz
not sure of the location yet, but I’m guessing I’ll need a sherpa to find them. No matter, I’ll be there.
Section 25H, Row 50
Straight -on endzone view, per http://www.tickets.ucla.edu/map/rosebowl.html
I’ll take it.
Just curious
How much are these tickets going for that everyone is getting? I looked at a few sites last week and the cheapest seats I could find were $850. Where did you get your tickets?
how much are you willing to let it go for?
My roommate needs one something terrible, and can’t afford to StubHub it since he’s a student.

Still need Tickets???
Have a pair of tix for sale. Just trying to get what was paid. $450 each. Anyone interested? Can meet in LA.
For all you out of towners...
…I’ve lived in LA since leaving the 40 Acres back in 2001 if you have any questions about hotels, restaurants, etc. Happy to help!
I have no clue where the team in staying, but back when we beat USC they stayed at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. (Which is not close to Pasadena, but it’s sort if in between the beach and the parts of the city you’d want to eat, hang out, make a sacrifice to the gods in honor of Kindle, etc).
Hook ’Em!
Did Texas students get tickets with sections already?
UA students basically got their names put on will-call and our ticket locations will depend on when we go to pick them up. So… I have no idea where I’ll be, but I assume it will be around the endzone somewhere
Good call by bama
That keeps students from trying to flip their tickets that they get through the school (which is total bs if you ask me, or pretty much anybody with a soul.)
Texas students have been able to pick up their actual tickets since yesterday morning. I got mine, section 27 row 2.
I agree
I’m just a little confused on when exactly I need to get those tickets, how long the will call line will be, and how parking will be at the point that I can pick up my tickets.
We got actual tickets to the SEC championship game last year and I saw a few annoying Florida fans in our section.

So how do I check for fraudulent tickets
I live in the LA area and have started looking for tickets. I’ll be looking for tickets through the regular sources (eBay, StibHub, etc.).
If I find tickets off of a Craigslist, is there something specific about the tickets I should be looking for to make sure their legit and not fakes? I would be taking all other precautions — only buying in a public place with a cashier’s check from someone with tickets in hand — but I don’t know if I’d know a legit ticket from a fake.
I would make sure the seller will show you pics of tix barcodes.
And pics of back of tix. Note the BCS 2010 reverse stamp as seen below. This is actual pic from LA Craigslist seller.

Have Legit Tickets in hand!!!
Will meet in person in LA. Will exchange tickets for cash in person.
