Big 12 Hoops Is On Top Of The World
Excellent AP article on how strong the Big 12 is in basketball this year. (Once again, I should add. The perception that we're a football conference is comically outdated.) From the article:
Led by Kansas and Texas at the top of the polls, the Big 12 has three of the nation's 11 unbeaten teams, including surprising Texas Tech. The conference has five ranked teams, is winning 82 percent of its games and is 5-1 against Top 25 teams.
If the preseason is any indication, the Big 12 is bigger and badder than ever.

The AAS is right once again.
I suspect the national media will stand up and take notice if we can top UNC.
It's an AP piece, but
I don’t think that necessarily means it’s running in newspapers outside of Texas (and maybe one other state).
What I’m saying is the SportsCenters and SI mags of the world will stand up and take notice of the Big12 as a whole if be beat UNC.
Just a minor point.
True enough
Although the fact that we’re ranked #2 in both polls tells me we’re being taken seriously already. Still, this is “prove it” week, no question about it.
You ain't hurt.
Stoked about the UNC game.
I assume we will see a good & thorough preview in the next couple days… ?

Big 12 has dominated the Pac 10 in the hardwood series...
8-2 (with two games left). Only Colorado and Iowa State have lost games and Tech beating UW really put the nail in the coffin for that this year. Bring on UNC!
game feed?
does anyone have game feed for the game tonight?
While most are dreaming of success, winners wake up and work hard to achieve it.
