Brother of Chris Simms commits to UT
The "other" UT that is. I felt bad for Lane Kiffin for a little bit, but one look at his wife made me change my mind.

Chris Simms originally committed to Tennessee as well
Not sure how likely it is that Matt will similarly de-commit and turn to Texas, but I haven’t heard about any offers.

Or any, for that matter
I really can’t think of any juco guys in the past five or six years. Going back a ways, I can’t actually recall any in the Mack Brown era, at least without research. Is there anyone I’m forgetting?

-It’s the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Day.
-Goodyear?
-No, the worst.

Not sure if there is any merit to this rumor/report, as i just heard it from a friend the other day and thought I would mention it . Apparently a few weeks ago the Tennessee scouts were at a Graham game checking out Case McCoy. Maybe my friend just confused the Tennessee orange with Texas orange, but I would think we would be done scouting a guy we have already offered. I can vouch that Case is not in the same league as Colt, and is possibly realizing that the chance of ever seeing the field behind Garrett and Conner is slim.
We'll see
A lot of people have been assuming he’ll be the heir to Gilbert, and for that matter, that Gilbert will be the heir to McCoy. McCoy may not end up being his brother, but stranger things have happened.
