- What an utter mismatch. The one thing I'll take away from this game is how Barnes didn't allow the players to go through the motions. The defense was tight the entire game, and our rebounding was outstanding. 22-9 on the offensive boards says it all about our effort. No one played more than 25 minutes, and yet 6 players had at least a +/- of +30. Barnes really can't call off the dogs, as our 2nd string is good enough blow out bad teams. Only Pittman and Melchionni had a ppm less than 1.40.
- Speaking of Dexy, he's now only played 25+ minutes in 2 of 9 games. I'm hoping his lack of playing time doesn't get him fatigued in the UNC/Mich. St games.
- Look out if Bradley continues to get minutes at PG. We can throw out a very big, athletic, and talented lineup, such as Jordan at the 2, James at the 3, and then Pittman with Johnson/Wangmene/Hill at the 4.
- Lot of things I'm interested in for our next few games. Will anything change as far as Barnes' rotation patterns? How will the minutes be distributed? Not only are we talented, but we're versatile. Rick would be smart to milk the mismatches in our favor (and we know on this team, there will be mismatches every game we play regardless of the opponent). I'm hoping PB, AW, and the rest of the gang can give us a nice preview going into the UNC game. Both Pittman and Bradley have already called this game a "national championship".

Not as many substitutions
It looks like Barnes may be calming down in terms of subbing guys in and out at every mistake, as he was doing earlier in the season. Probably a good sign for the confidence of the team.
The big lineups were also interesting and may be a sign for North Carolina, which has a big front line.
Really hope that Brown is back somewhere close to full speed in this game and that Barnes avoids the Balbay/Mason combination that has been universally panned — working inside out may be the best way to attack Carolina, but they will sag into the paint if those two are on the floor together.
