Remembering Roll Left
I watched this play through my fingers, nearly barfed, and then ordered a tequila shot. Vince's TD for the national title may be the #1 play in 'Horns history for me, but this is a close second.

Was at my dorm in Moore-Hill
and went freaking nuts. I loved Mackovic so much that I remember being really upset that he got canned the following year. (I attended the 66-3 UCLA beatdown in its entirety.)
Oh, to be young and naive again…
Hook 'em
I was in Simpkins
and our dorm went nuts too. I remember the storming of the Cap Metro buses on the drag. Then later that night hanging out on 6th and meeting some of the Longhorns that went out there to celebrate that night.
I too was at the UCLA game but not for the whole disaster. Was all for the firing then.
Don't sweat the pettiness, pet the sweatiness.
Is it wrong for me to believe . . .
. . . that the play-call, despite its success, was incredibly stupid (a la Belichick two weeks ago)?
Doesn’t mean that I didn’t celebrate my ass off when happened, even though I was celebrating by jumping up and down while yelling “That was the stupidest play call I ever saw!”
