Big XII Cahmpionship ? (visitor team)
I think I remember from past Big 12 Championship games that the team that travels the farthest is designated the home team, so is that how it willbe done again this year? If so, then will we be wearing the white uni's this week? Also, is the roof going to be closed for the game? I know that we have been having some snow and rain up here in the Metroplex (and maybe again on Friday), plus Saturday night might be in the low 40's or high 30's (actual real football weather). Just curious if anyone has heard or read about these topics.
Hook 'em.

Roof is closed and NU is home team.
Per Big 12 article.
Going indoors: With cold air over north Texas and a chance of snow in the forecast, the Big 12 announced the Cowboys Stadium roof will be closed for the title game.
Per Big 12 policy, the Big 12 North Champion will be declared the home team because the game is scheduled to take place in a home state of four Big 12 South teams. Designated “home” teams are 9–4 in Big 12 Championship Games. The South Division has won 5 years in a row and is 9-4 overall.
I don't care who gets the designation...
If the game is in Texas, we’re the true home team. Estimate the ratio of burnt orange to red once the game starts, and you’ll see what I mean. Nebraska fans may travel well, but seriously…this game is in our backyard, in the best freaking football stadium in Texas. You can’t tell me that the atmosphere won’t be absolutely UT-electric. Hook ’Em!!!

Ugh...fail. Try again:

I consider DKR our "house".
Jerry World is in our “backyard”, and definitely the 8th Wonder of the World. Don’t get me wrong…I have very many fond memories in DKR: coming out of the tunnel, hearing that cannon going off every couple of minutes, playing the fight song until my lips bled. But this is gonna be a whole new, different but amazing experience for us.

Yeah...
…but it’s not the best freaking football stadium in Texas. DKR is!

Insane. Snowing in Texas before it's snowed at all here
in the northern Indiana tundra. Last year at this time we were feet deep in lake effect snow.
I got an 1/2 inch outside of Dallas early Weds morning
Not cold enough to stick, but enough for people to complain
JD’s like, "you want some fucking pitching? Here’s all the pitching you can stand. Now choke on it, bitches!"- RCCook
I like the fact that we are "visitors"
That means the all white uni’s, love ’em!
The "Big Bang" was actually a Will Muschamp chestbump......with the Earth!
The same unis we wore for the national championship game in '05.
Hopefully we’ll get the W and be dubbed the visiting team for Jan 7th.

Agree on white uni's
They are classic Texas and one of the best uni’s in the country.
Snowing in Dallas wow can anyone track down Al Gore Global warming my ass. Hopefully im not the lone Conservative Nationalist in the room
Nationalism and conservatism have almost nothing to do with environmental issues
However, I think you misunderstand the concept of global warming, and I’d warn against nationalism.

Look at stuff like that first for explanations in weird weather patterns. Like why we on the shores of the Great Lakes are just now experiencing our first snowfall, nearly two months late – just because it’s cold in Texas doesn’t mean it’s not weirdly warm elsewhere, keep in mind.
Sorry about my remarks, but im just a borders language and culture kind of guy thats what I'm talking about when I say Nationalism. I just don't buy into the whole global warming issue
Not buying into GW is like not buying into evolution
It’s your right, and while science would largely disagree with you, it’s fine. But nationalism is a dangerous ideology, and I think I’d find another word to use instead to describe your system of beliefs if I were you. If you’re not really a nationalist in the traditional sense of the word, I’m glad to hear it.

Lol!! Give credit to Gore, he couldn’t invent the internet but he has atleast invented the global warming.
I met the guy who invented the internet the other day.
He was no Al Gore, trust me.
