Too soon over
It was so long in coming. The football "preseason" lasted forever. I could not wait for the first game of this season. Then it finally came and now it is coming to an end. WAY TOO SOON.
I know it is not over yet. I know we have two championship games to play. For the Big 12 this Saturday and hopefully for the national championship in early January. But that is only two games. Two games left and then we go into the long off season. What will we have next year on the D. Line. What will the O. Line look like? What will GG bring to the offense? Will we change the play calling to fit his skills? Will Whaley step in this spring for Tre? Who else? 9 long months of speculation and waiting for the first game of 2010.
I will enjoy what is left of this season before I go into football hibernation. And I will enjoy watching our basketball team play for a final four berth and hopefully a national championship. But football season will soon be over and I will miss it.

However...
“Rove to ”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SoNo_(Atlanta)" target="new">SoNo" is, though. I hear Jesus will be playing football there.

I prefer to keep my head in the sand about the upcoming offseaon. Like the end of the world, I’d rather not know when it is coming.
Good basketball and baseball teams should help with the offseason
A lot of you may not be into basketbal and/or baseball, but all of you should be into Longhorns kicking ass and taking names.
All about it
I’m looking forward to the triple-dip of Horns championships this year.

There is a silver lining...
to every cloud. If you still have a girlfriend/fiance’/wife after football season. The off season is as good a time as any to get in all the brownie points you can before you lose them all again next fall.

You do realize
That if even if you beat us, we’ll be picked up as an at-large bid, most likely. Trash talk fail.

Strange Times...
I thought Huskers were supposed to be the classy ones. I guess almost a decade of being irrelevant is enough time to develop an inferiority complex?
Besides that
Aggie fans at least get to talk about their wins in ’06 and ’07, and their program is bad enough that going to a bowl is something they can brag about. Nebraska has been wallowing in mediocrity for years now, well below what they should be, and doing even worse against the Longhorns specifically. They get the honor of playing Texas because they happened to play the least poorly in the Big XII North, the worst division in the BCS conferences.
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!
Interesting point
Now that I think about it, A&M hasn’t even won a national championship since the 30’s.
Maybe that does explain a lot of the psycho, delusional stuff we get from them.
Don't tell that to an Aggie
They think they’ve won the National Championship every year since football was invented. They always have an excuse.

Aggies win moral championships
Built on winning one moral victory at a time. I hear they’re undefeated.

I'll be damned
if I’m going to worry about a team that lost to Iowa State. Good luck, Corn. You’re going to need it.

Agree
The Horns will be ready to play on Saturday. Primetime game + extra rest and preparation + the huge, neutral stadium —> Big Win.
By the way San Jac, I was wondering: is your name a reference to the battle or the UT dorm?
its the address of the one and only

Re: Iowa State
It was their Super Bowl
They gave 110%
Any given Saturday
So much parity
They played 60 minutes
Never gave up
Give credit to ISU
Don’t you BELIEVE?!
This looks like flash cards for a new coach
He is flipping through them before the press conference after his first loss.
