Pelini still ranked us #1 overall.

Maybe an attempt to make amends for acting like a discontented child after the game. I’m sure I would have acted similarly if I really thought that there wasn’t time left on the clock when the ball bounced, but he did have an 80 yard screen in front of his face showing that there was a second left… emotion can be a very powerful thing. Much more powerful than silly indisputable video proof.

You would think there would be more of a backlash...

regarding the coaches tirade. Especially, since some of the comments were in public and directed to Texas coaches. The only mention of the comments was in a small article on the Inside ESPN website and on the Omaha World-Herald.
