I hate the whole “he’s maturing before our eyes” storyline. It seems like it is just a cover for the gross error in benching him in the first place. Is he throwing fewer picks? Sure, but who doesn’t throw fewer picks in their 3rd year as opposed to their first year? Vince should have never been benched. The entire “suicide story” was a complete fabrication. 100% false. He was ridiculously slandered in the media with absolutely no basis, and then lost his job after he was injured. Now he’s back and playing well (as I’m sure most of us here knew he was completely capable of doing) and the media loves him again. Vince handles them the right way by just playing it off, saying “I love everybody,” but there are many “journalists” that deserve to be called out for their inept and irresponsible use of their pulpits.

Sorry about the rant, but I love Vince, and I feel like you would have to be blind to think that he doesn’t have something ridiculously special about him.
