I'm out of pocket visiting Austin for the weekend, but while I've got a few minutes this morning, have a look-see at the Ken Pomeroy ratings. Texas checks in at #24 right now, with a mediocre offensive efficiency (62nd nationally) and very strong defensive efficiency (10th). What I just noticed, however, is that Texas' opponents average offensive efficiency is the 10th highest in the country. That is, Texas is playing excellent defense against excellent offenses. If the Longhorns get their own offense up a notch, there's hope for March yet.
