Durant gets some help
As most everyone knows Kevin Durant is playing some remarkable ball lately for the OKC Thundery(really that's their name?) Anyway Durant also just got some help acquiring Tyson Chandler from the N.O. Hornets. The 26 year old 7'1" Center is one of the best players in the league when healthy if you don't follow the NBA.
The Thunder won only 13/53 games before the Allstar Break. My question is how many of the 29 remaining games will the Thunder win? Durant needs to learn how to be on a winning team again.

Are you nuts?
Tyson Chandler is one of the best players in the game?
Seriously, are you insane?
He is a decent shotblocker/defender at best with no offensive game. Only reason he was even able to put his name out there is because of Chris Paul, the best PG for past couple of years.
I agree this is definitely an upgrade from Joe Smith and Wilcox, however, putting another body who cant create his own shot is not helping Durant. With his expensive contract, this is a terrible move.
With Green, Durant, and Chandler, thats 3 6’9’’ bodies, this is going to limit Durant’s space.

It's going to make them a little better
but Chandler can thank Chris Paul for most of his scoring. I’m guessing OKC will be a little better defensively. I still don’t see them finishing over .500 in their last 29 games.

Did they also mention he's had trouble staying healthy throughout?
Seeking Sooner blood and Red Raider poo piles in 2009. Wildcat nuggets in 2010.

They didn't need Chandler for offense, just some inside defense.
That’s the main thing the Thunder (Geez it’s even worse when you type it out) have been missing, along with a competent PG.

Chandler could help
if he gets healthy enough to get on the court, but since Wilcox and Smith weren’t playing very much anyway I suppose there isn’t much downside.
