Why a Rose Bowl run? Why not a +1 game run?

Hes speaking to a technicality
The “Rose Bowl” the game, is still just a BCS game. The championship game or the “+1”, while being held at the Rose Bowl, isnt technically the “Rose Bowl” like it was up until 2007.
For instance, we weren’t looking to go for an Orange Bowl run this past year, so why should we go for a Rose Bowl run this year?
Semantics.

I’m still pissed that my parents didn’t make Semantics my middle name.

Myself, when I selected it about eleven years ago for a football board known as MouthOff, long since defunct.

I apologize for completely going blank
on the names of impact recruits in the Big 12. I would say Christine Michael will make an impact at A&M and Kevin Brent could have a chance to play for the Sooners, though McFarland is probably buried behind McCoy and Granger. Sheldon Richardson, the defensive tackle from St. Louis who is going to Missouri is a beast and there are some talks that playing tight end somewhere in the very large dude range, like 280 easily.
Wasn’t quite prepared enough to answer that question.

The DE going to OU looked really good
in one of the All-Star games. Can’t remember if it was the Under Armor or the Army game.
Justin Chaisson.
He looked dominant in the Army-AA game.

Managed to remember him
that was about all I came up with.

Also maybe Cody Green at Nebraska
Looking at the top Texas kids for 2009, it’s surprising how few kids all of the Big 12 schools got (other than Texas,). LSU did better than anyone other than Texas in the Big 12.

Good call
Be interesting to see if Green stays at quarterback for Nebraska because he performed really well in college camps at receiver.
