They may have been my favorite Texas basketball team
The final four team was great, but that team was so fun to watch!
Blazz
Who is Greg Oden?
Durant might be on a bad team, but you look at his shooting percentage it is definitely up there with the likes of LBJ, Kobe, D-wade
COACH BOOM BABY!!
For anyone who doubts
whether or not KD’s number should hang from the Erwin Center rafters, that highlight package should put them to rest. Texas fans were, are, and forever will be extremely lucky that KD donned the burnt orange, a decision that will continue to resonate with young basketball players until enough time passes that they were too young to remember. Players like Jordan Hamilton and Tristan Thompson committing to Texas are direct results of KD’s influence, and those players will influence more young players into wanting to play at Texas. In essence, KD’s time in Austin was a gift that continues to give, and will for a long time. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to see KD in burnt orange again pounding his chest after a big play, except for seeing him get the recognition that he deserves as not only a sensationally skilled basketball player, but also as a kid who gets it and has worked as hard as anyone to maximize his significant physical gifts. Yes, it’s true — no one at Texas should ever wear the number 35 on the basketball court again.
