Sports and the Law: Can Schools 'Cheer' Their Way into Title IX Compliance
Interesting to think about the possibility of giving cheerleading scholarships and thus being able to form a varsity men's soccer team, or other neglected sport, without having to add another women's varsity sport (of which there are way more than men's sports to make up for the number of schollies given to football players).

Interesting
Could we see a trickle-down effect, in which this scholarship incentive drives high school cheerleaders (and their mothers) to even crazier antics?

Hey
I’m from Channelview, home of the Cheerleader Murdering Mom. And we are very proud to have made it into the national spotlight and had several movies made just about Channelview. Umm-hmm. Yep.

Who cheers?
When cheerleading becomes an NCAA sport, who will cheer for them?
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.
