PrintQuick Thoughts:
- The game today was seriously a waste of 2.5 hours of my time.
- We WILL NOT go to the NCAA tourney... we will not make it. Look at our upcoming schedule. We are a bubble team fo sho right now, and I just dont see how we are gonna pick up more than 2 wins the rest of the season.
- This team needs a LEADER!!!!!! We look like we arent even playing out there!!!! WE DONT EVEN CARE TO BE IN THE GAME... SERIOUSLY, thats how we look. Anyone else agree????????????????
- What the hell was the last play with 6 seconds left to go? Crap... pure coaching crap. Which leads me to...
- I love Rick Barnes, I even loved him after the last 2 losses. But damn, this was THE WORST coaching job I have ever seen in NCAA Basketball history... absolutely embarrassing.
- Justin Mason sucks as a PG or handling the ball. He cannot shoot worth a sh*t either. The fact that he starts over Harrison Smith at this point in the season when we need scoring is laughable.
- Our Mens Swimming team is awesome... AWESOME! So is our mens Tennis team!
- I Will no longer watch any more of our B Ball games this year. They are starting to give me ulcers.
- Seriously, what is wrong with starting Harrison Smith over Atchley?????? HS can shoot, dribble and penetrate. Better than half of our team.
- Wow, we are going to have fun in the NIT next year... not joking.
That is all, be sure to blast me for any of the above comments. but i am sooooooo angry right now.

this team is a joke…. i know we are having a “down” year, but this is hilarious to watch this “talent” and “coaching”
I just don't understand
We play well in the first half.
We were up by 12 at one point, same thing against Mizzou.
And when it gets under 8 minutes in the game every just starts to suck

I would chose Smith over Mason 9 times outta 10… at least dude can drive and shoot, and not just sit there when we are running a weave or pick and roll

Who Was The Recruit
Yeah that really blows that we lost a 3rd straight game in a row. Even when we had a nice lead in this game, other than that does anyone know who are first recruit was for the football team I saw on OB we have someone that we were shocked that they signed so early
not that I'm going to celebrate Abrams leaving this year
but I have a feeling next year is going to be much more of a team-oriented offense next year. Nobody’s going to be chucking up 20+ shots ever.

I like AJ and all
but this year’s offense just doesnt let him shine. There’s no one else the opposing team has to worry (such as DJ or KD) about so AJ’s performance dipped.

Greenspoint, let me guess. Are you under the age of 23 or so?
Yup, I thought so. So, you’ve never experienced a Horns basketball team under a coach other than Barnes, right? And never suffered, and I mean SUFFERED, in the pre-Mack era?
Believe me, I am NOT happy with the ugliness I’m seeing this year. This team is under-achieving – something unique in the RB era. Typically, his teams over-achieve. I don’t understand the problem. And apparently, he has little insight into it either, or it would have been fixed.
But geez, don’t sound like an aggsy t-shirt fan. This team may not achieve highly this one year. But next year, it’s looking good. And hey, don’t give up yet … there may be some good games left in this group.
I don’t want to sound like a pollyanna. But us Texas fans suffer from an embarrassment of riches, year after year – especially in the last decade or so. Calm down, sit back and relax, and enjoy the wonderful long-term prospects ahead.

We haven’t been good enough recently to have t-shirt fans.

but they all live in rural East-Central Texas and don’t have access to the internets, or cable.

Point Guard
This is not a team because we have no actual Point Guard. We have been blessed/spoiled at the position with TJ, DJ, Gibson and hell even Ivey. There is no dribble penetration with an option of shoot, pass to a big or back out to AJ. Without this we are lost. The early part of the season we stayed alive by AJ being outrageous and a superb D. Neither is with us anymore. The original hope was that either AJ or Mase would semi-prosper at the point. Then the hope was Balbay, but for whatever reason it’s just not working.
Looks like this year is lost and next year we pray that Lucas is the answer.
