Coming back HOME!
Its been a long six years since I lived in Tx and Im ready to be back to the Greatest State you could have ever been born in TEXAS. Just last season i made it to my first UTgame and it was great now that ill be only 2.5 / 3 hours i plan to make alot more it was the greastest feeling being inside the Stadium. April i hope to make the spring game and all the home games i can. Did i mention 3 of those years I was stuck in Oklahoma. As of next tuesday I will be back in Tx for good and I cant wait.

welcome back
I know exactly what you mean. I moved back about a year ago and couldn’t be happier. I spent 6 years in Kansas which is almost as bad as oklahoma. It was especially bad the two years when k-state beat my Horns. Again welcome home.

It's always great to get back home.
We have rain forecast the next couple of day, so maybe we’ll get lucky.
Won’t be much of a spring without it. No bluebonnets at any rate.
Good luck with your move.

I know the feeling...
Just got accepted to Texas Law this afternoon, and after being in the Northeast for four years, I couldn’t be happier to come back home.

Congrats...
I’m studying for the LSAT right now to get into UT Law. Any advice?

Yeah
Go to medical school. Seriously, I’ve been a lawyer for 5 years, and it is awful. The job market for attorneys in Texas is beyond bad. Tort reform killed litigation (except for commercial, and there’s not alot of that). Big firms across the country are laying off associates in droves because there is no work. Things aren’t any rosier on the transactional side with the credit markets all but frozen: no deals closing=no work. That being said, Texas Law is tops in the state, but if you’re serious about the lawyer thing I’d encourage you to go to Harvard, Yale, or Stanford.

not trying to rain on your parade
I’m just telling you what I wish someone had told me before I plunked down 90K and 3 years of my life for an oversold degree. Check out www.abovethelaw.com and http://messageboard.tuckermax.com/showthread.php?t=9395 for some alternate perspective.

are we really talking about weather on a sports blog? Goodness gracious, this offseason sucks some big one.
But, I too am very proud of the best state in the union. Welcome back, ye prodigal son.

As I have posted before I am married to a sooner fan , i know poor me but on are first trip to Dallas we went to one of the Texas Brahams hockey games and of course they had to be Playing OKC blazers. So I automaticly assume she is gonna be rooting for Oklahoma to my amazement she rooted for the Texas team I know its not the Longhorns but you gotta start somewhere. I hoping one day to get that damn ugly ass Crimison out of her closet. I think the main reason she roots for them anyways is cause her family does and im getting her away from them so there might be some hope for her still
