This is why it's called madness
1 seed goes down, which opens up the door for the winner of UT/KSU to get into the final. Time to take advantage and lock down a higher seed! But as far as seeding goes, it would’ve been better to beat KU than to beat BU if it happened.

But Baylor is going to be tough out. Beating a team 3 times in one season is always tough to do.

Our offense looks decent and doing all the right things. But our defense is hurting.
Pittman’s endurance might keep up is in that damn zone most of the game.

KSU shooting just 34.6% from the field

If any of you guys can toss in some occassional play by play, espn has a lot of lag right now.
Again
Texas is shooting 45.5% from the field. KSU is shooting just 31.3% from the field. But KSU has taken 10 more shots than us. We’re actually outrebounding them overall but they have 4 more offensive rebounds than us. Even worse is we have 12 turnovers, they have 7.
It’s pretty clear what Barnes has to emphasize in the locker room. Defense has been great, but stop turning the ball over and finish the play by rebounding.

Justin Mason just played a disgusting first half....
Nobody around him was doing much either, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of Mason. He penetrated 3 times and missed layups each time. He had some turnovers. He was ineffective as a ball handler. He botched 2-3 possible defensive rebounds. He is absolutely no threat on offense.

I've wondered why KSU bedevils us in basketball, football.
Are they that good at analysis and exploiting our weaknesses?
Or do they have a spy? Pretty ct but geez this gets old.

It all started when he forced Colt to run back to back QB sneaks in that dreadful football game in 2006. After that, KSU has beat us in just about everything.

K State shooting 31.8%, Texas shooting 53%
….but k state with 12 more shots! and both teams horrendous from the free throw line
What's up with Ward playing today?
I’m guessing it has more to do with us playing back-to-back games.
Recently Smith took all of Ward’s minutes, but now Ward is playing in the 2nd half. I’m glad he is playing though, he’s one of the best guard defenders on the team.

A few words about AJ...
I don’t care if he isn’t putting up 20+ points. As long as he play good D, doesn’t force any threes, takes the open ones and makes them when it matters, he’s OK with me.
Only thing I would like to see improve is his passing off double and triple teams when he’s got the ball.
OU and the Pokes are at 6. Tech and Mizzou are at 8:30....
Texas plays the early game tomorrow at 6. I’ll be at Woodrows for that one…. can’t wait…
