OU/OSU, Mizzou/Tech game thread
Right now OU and OSU are locked up in a 40-all tie in the 2nd half. Doesn't really look good for the Big 12 if their 1 and 2 seeds are one and done in the Big 12 tourney, but I can't complain when OU loses.
Can Tech continue the Cinderella story? I think they matchup well with Missouri, as the Tigers don't exactly have a dominating post presence. If one or multiple Tech guards can catch fire like Mike Singletary did last night, don't be surprised if Tech keeps it close and then some.

OSU up 47-41 with under 14 minutes in 2nd half
balanced scoring from the Cowboys. 5 players with 7 points or more.

Eaton going to the line for OSU
Game is tied at 68 with 30 seconds to play.
1 and 2 seeds knocked off in the same night

Update?
It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you come in first.

Made the second
OU throws the ball in and Griffin missed the shot but the clock never started at all.
I can just see OU finding some excuse for losing and blaming it on the clock

I thought it was a typo at first when it said Tech beat A&M last night
Guess they pulled one out of the hat

If the number #1 & #2 seeds lose in their own tourney, I dont see it happening

Parity / Parody — Come on man, We’re Texas!
PB, can we have a pinned post somewhere on here instructing people on the most common misspellings and misused words on sites such as these?
It should be required reading.

Or they should just get Firefox
automatic spellcheck.
My only complaint about this whole SBNation interface is for some reason, Firefox spell check doesn’t work on the comment title portion, but does work everywhere else.

Right click
the title and check the spell check option. Annoying that it does not default, but at least there is a way to do it.
In the unlikely event
that Baylor or Tech actually win the tourney, it probably would be bad news for the Aggies. I don’t see 7 teams getting to the dance.

this could pave the way for a UT Big 12 championship
we can beat K-State, Baylor, and it wont be easy, but we can beat Mizzou also. That would be funny that the dissappointing year is the one where we win the Big 12
Ian Johnson gets on one knee.
Sam Bradford gets on both.
I thought the same thing...
And then I remembered how we played today. It wouldn’t surprise me if Baylor beat us by 15. Then again, it wouldn’t shock me if we won by 25. With this team, who knows?
Wow. Upsets galore..
The title is definitely there for the taking. Mizzou isn’t nearly as formidable as OU or Kansas.
the man, the myth, the legend.
No team has won the Championship with out winning the first game of there own tourney
That would eliminate a lot of teams.

A&M needed the Pokes to lose....
I think they are now 6th in the Big 12 pecking order, regardless of what else happens. If Baylor or Tech somehow win the conference Tourney, A&M is out. Also, if there are more upsets (like Butler losing in their tourney), A&M moves closer and closer to the NIT.
I'm pretty sure A&M is in unless there is absolute madness in the tournaments
Baylor/Tech would likely knock out a big ten team like penn state
The comittee is adamant that they don't consider teams like that.
They don’t say “there’s no way we’re taking 7 big 12 teams this year.” They look at every team’s record individually. Conference only matters insofar as it determines which teams you’ve played during the season.

if Tech can just get some stops they can get back in this

Tech just plays so little defense
If they dont make their threes they have no chance to win
