Rick Barnes isn't a fan of Scott Drew
Wow. Strong words from Rick Barnes about Scott Drew and the hiring of Dwon Clifton. I had known about that hiring, but hadn't heard anything about Drew repeatedly using negative recruiting practices.
If you want to read something ridiculous, but amusing, check out the links to the reactions of Baylor fans on their message board. Wow, talk about delusional.

I always thought
Rick was a damn good coach. I just didn’t realize how good. The record he has compiled with the leftovers that the great programs like Baylor don’t want…my hat’s off to him.

As most of the comments fall into a few groups
I’ll just pick the one that said Texas couldn’t get Christian athletes, while Baylor could. Please nobody tell Colt what a pagan school he is playing for.
My other favorites all are along the lines of “This is old news.” Like there is a statute of limitations on being a cheating scumbag.

Bobby Knight hated Scott Drew
Drew once sent out a letter to some recruits that said something to the effect of “Who’s the only coach in the Big XII to recruit a Parade All American?”
a. Bobby Knight
b. Rick Barnes
c. Scott Drew
He was apparently the only one. I wish I had the exact details, but my dad was telling me the story and that was part of the reason for Rick and Bobby not liking him…..haha

Yeah....I don't know the letter word for word to that extent, but I think that was right...
It might’ve been before Durant, but I’m not sure. Maybe I should’ve checked the facts, but I got the story from my dad and I generally trust the guy.
Basically it just boils down to negative recruiting….like Rick Barnes mentioned.

FWIW, someone on BC said that it was
McDonald’s AA, and that it Knight, Drew, and another Big12 coach were listed, but not Barnes. This was from a Baylor fan. I could still see Barnes being pissed off, considering his relationship with Knight.
