2009 Spring Jamboree

I'm looking to go down to this event for the first time, but haven't been able to find a schedule anywhere online for anything  besides the actual scrimmage itself. Does anyone know if this has been posted yet? Is there typically an autograph earlier in the day? Thanks-

    Schedule hasn't been released yet

Look for it late this week or early next week on MB-TF.com.

To my knowledge, they don’t hold an autograph session with the players at the spring game. Last year, I think they just had the carnival games and such for the kids and then some kind of concert outside the stadium before the game kicked off at noon.

They do have an autograph session at Fan Appreciation Day, which is in August, right before the start of the season.

    Thanks for the link
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a 12"x12" square of the Longhorns grass playing surface for only $20. Pre-sale orders for the squares begin at noon at the Red McCombs Red Zone ticket office with sales concluding at 6 p.m. Distribution of the squares begins one hour after the conclusion of the scrimmage. This unique offer is only available on Sunday, April 5 so don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of Texas Football history!

I guess they are tearing out the grass as soon as the game is over?

    Dibs on the midfield longhorn!

Can I sod my front yard with it? Can’t think of a better place to teach my kids to catch a football.

Sure. You got an oil well in the back yard?

For $792,000 you can have the whole field (at $20/ft.). Bet you can get it for only $250k. And get the water ph balance system as well, just to keep it purty.

Of course, you kids can learn to catch a football on dirt.

Pfft, this is the (L)East Coast, where yards are like postage stamps.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless
