Marcus Lattimore (Duncan, S.C./James F. Byrnes) confirmed that Auburn is his new leader after an unofficial visit to the school during the weekend, ESPN's JC Shurburtt reports.
He spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com about the visit, "This whole experience, I just felt it. You can't really explain it. My mom loves it, my stepdad loves it. You really just can't explain the feeling. I really didn't expect this much. I was just coming in to see the offense. They showed me that, and I met all these great people."
Per ESPN Insider. Yes, this is the same Marcus Lattimore that ranks 4th on the Rivals 100, right behind Lache Seastrunk and Darius White. There must be something in Gene Chizik's kool-aid, since he's piquing the interest of many a top running back.

Damn, Good for Chizik...
I can’t wish harm on a member of the 2005 staff, but secretly I can’t imagine Auburn doing anything until they get a QB….
They do have a pretty solid dual-threat QB..
He’s a frosh and from Texas.

Man but what is up with Auburn and the elite RBs. Oh well, if Lattimore goes to Auburn I doubt Seastrunk goes there right? Lattimore is ranked #4 in the country two spots behind Lache.

Much like the NFL...
….virtually all the marquee programs are wanting to utilize a dual-RB offense. Very few can haul the rock 30 plays for an entire season.
