I dont see why a lot of pollsters rank us below OU next year
Their season this year was somewhat of an aberration. No one even knew who Blake Griffin was last year. Itll be a battle between Texas and Kansas for the Big 12 again, IMO

Some examples why your statement is wrong
No one even knew who Blake Griffin was last year

????
you know Blake was there for 2 years, right? PRE season all-american means they knew of him BEFORE the season. If he had come out last year, he would’ve been a lottery pick, which is why some critics were confused why he came back

You are saying 2 different things
No one even knew who Blake Griffin was last year.
&
did anyone even talk about blake griffin when he came to OU, coming into his freshman year?
For the first quote there is this:
Griffin, who received 45 votes, surprised many when he decided to return to the Sooners for his sophomore season. The 6-10, 250-pound Griffin averaged 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds last season in leading Oklahoma through a rough Big 12 schedule and into the NCAA tournament.
And the second there is this:
Major programs all over the country wanted the 6-foot-10, 251-pound Griffin out of Oklahoma Christian School in Oklahoma City. He wasn’t as highly regarded as Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose or others, but he would be eventually.
Both from the links I posted.
