Following the dust settling on the NBA Draft List, Andy Katz posted his final Top 25 before the fall. Katz says OU and A&M were considered, but he has Kansas State as the only other ranked team in the conference.

Still waiting on the shocker that Barnes was talking about....regardging the scholarship situation...
Here’s hoping it’s Hill that gets the ax…
#3 Sounds about right.
It’s our best team since the Gibson, Aldridge, Tucker days.

This ain't football, thank goodness
With so many new starters, it may take some time for the team to gel. If we drop a couple of close matches before we find ourselves (like Notre Dame last year) we could drop down from #3. Then we have a tough Big12 schedule. I’d be happy to be in the top 10 when we start our tournament run.

The talent is there...
I think Damion coming back will provide the leadership that’s needed to succeed.
I don't see Damion as a leader.
Maybe there is something there behind close doors. I did like when he yelled at Balbay at the end of the game. “Dunk that $h!t, Dunk it all the time.”

Jai's job
Floor leader is the point guard’s job. Barnes does not need any help yelling at the players.

Leader and director are two different things.
I imagine the leadership is coming from Dex and Mason.

Bradley
Although only a freshman, from what I have read he has leadership written all over him. It will take time for him to earn the respect of his teammates.
One of the big issues last year was there was no team leadership or chemistry. Neither AJ, Mason, Atchly, James, etc.stepped up to the roll.
Yeah
That worked out SO well for us last time.

Even with a plethora of Horns fans...
…cavernous Reliant Stadium makes the games uncomfortably quiet.
I dont know if you saw Memphis in Houston
But no one was beating them there. They were on like nothing Ive seen before. They beat Kansas by 10 if they played a weekend before.
Not fair to blame the location on us when we ran into a freaking buzzsaw of ineligible players.
