Big Monday Schedule

Four games for the Horns. I didn't realize that the Kansas game was moved to earlier this year and OK was the final game. I preferred it the way it was, especially given how this team is likely to become better and better with each game. I liked the "what have you got" feel of finishing with KU... as Gibson said, KU is our rival (I think it was Daniel, maybe someone else).  All Big Monday games are either OK, KU, or UT.

Date Game Time (Central)
Jan. 11 Oklahoma State at Oklahoma 8 p.m.
Jan. 18 Texas at Kansas State 8 p.m.
Jan. 25 Missouri at Kansas 8 p.m.
Feb. 1 Texas at Oklahoma State 8 p.m.
Feb. 8 Kansas at Texas 8 p.m.
Feb. 15 Kansas at Texas A&M 8 p.m.
Feb. 22 Oklahoma at Kansas 8 p.m.
Mar. 1 Oklahoma at Texas 8 p.m.

Any word on AJ Abrams?

Where’s he gonna end up playing? He was definitely good enough for some team to take a flyer on him in the second round, I am surprised he wasn’t drafted. There is always a spot for a pure shooter in the NBA. Anyway, I’d appreciate any updates anybody has on AJ.

Okay, I stopped being lazy and found the answer to my own question....
AJ Abrams and Connor Atchley didn’t hear their names called on draft night but they will get a shot to prove they can play in the NBA. AJ will be on the Nets summer league team and Connor will play with Stephen Curry on the Golden St. Warrior summer squad.

Best of luck to both of them.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
