According to Orangebloods, Rick Barnes and Co. picked up a commitment from 2011 prospect, DeAndre Daniels who attends Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA. Daniels is listed as a small forward at 6-8

Rivals ranks him #41 on their 2011 prosect list.

great work by Rick Barnes and staff! It is truly amazing how well he has managed the recruiting process and numbers given the challenges of one ‘n done and early departures. I’m starting to feel the excitement of a Nat’l Championship just around the corner.

I hope I'm wrong

I didn’t see it with this kid. Everything was slow motion. He does have adequate range. But, his release is so slow and at such a low angle that junk is going to get thrown. He’s not quite a jump shooter not quite a set shooter. He did have a nice spin move with his back to the basket. Maybe he plays faster in games like a Keith Van Horn.
