i find it funny that the only team we have a losing record against is the worst SEC team, and that they have dominated us.
Hook 'em up with a schedule
When was that, like before WWII?
Maybe we can get them for a fill in next year since LSU bowed out of an invite and you know Auburn or any of the Floridians don’t want any part of Big 12 South that early in the season. It could be a great game for their program and would draw more interest from the press than a minor club from Louisiana or Wyoming. No disrespect, but I think the BCS voters would prefer analyzing football games over track meets. Vandy could end up that way too, but at least we would have the almighty SEC initials showing on our schedule.
We, being the Big 12, need some support from other teams in bowl match-ups, like uh? TT, or chOkeU? Texas is the most prestigous program in college football right Coach Muschamp? It’s expected of us to be the light bearer, but it would be great to watch the conference succeed in head to head as a whole with recent wins against the BCS perennial darlings.
I had not heard thatwe tried to schedule LSU. When did that happen? Was it for thi coming season to reace ark, or next year instaed of playing ole miss?

Hey, I've advocated playing Vandy several times
for exactly those reasons. Time to even up. And South Carolina, too. Bring it on.
Bama or Ole Miss?

There’s a media angle either way, whether we’re talking Snead or Applewhite.
Of course, they could just talk about Saban the whole time. Yeah.

Last year when there was talk about Alabama and UT playing in the Sugar Bowl
a coworker (a HUGE Bama fan) and I were talking about all time records. He swore up and down that the Tide would have the edge on Texas. He left my office and went back out into the plant where we work while I looked up the record. When I found the record on MBTF, I wrote it on a piece of paper and taped it up in my window that looks out into the plant. Needless to say he communicated his love for me via sign language the rest of the day as 7-0-1 hung proudly in my window for everyone to see.
That record is no fluke, eiher
It was against Bear Bryant at the height of Bama football
