2005 and 2009: Colt and Vince
Dr. Saturday writes about our upcoming season and the parallels between 2009 and 2005. He believes that while Colt is incredible, he cannot lift the team quite like Vince could and needs more help. In that regard, I agree.

Good Article
Can Colt possibly be better than last year? If he was, somehow, how would it take effect?
Just thinking about it makes me giddy.
As far as accuracy
He said (at some point, I forget when) the he was most accurate looking at his 1st and 2nd options, but the accuracy dropped when looking at his 3rd and 4th option. He said that was one thing he was going go focus on was make sure he hits all possibilites the same.

That was the Herbstreit Conversation
He also said made a bet with Herbstreit that he would beat his completion percentage from last year.
Nice link
Always love me some Dr. Saturday. I particularly love this line:
…as one of the elite quarterbacks of the modern era on one hand or as a smart, tough kid who couldn’t lead his team to even one conference championship in four years as a starter on the other…
For all the vitriol spilled on this site (and many others) about the “supposed” greatness of Tim “the Jesus” Tebow, dude has a pretty sick resume. Consider the case of Vince Young, who had merely one and a half seasons of elite play in him. Had he lost the Rose Bowl, he would’ve been remembered as an amazing athlete, but not nearly under consideration for one of CFB’s G.O.A.Times (Calvin Murphy reference, sorry).
Likewise, SMQ Dr. Saturday brings up a great point that it’s entirely possible for all of Colt’s accomplishments, he could very well play four years and not win a single conference championship (cue HC entrance…here). Like it or not, Colt’s legacy will be greatly defined by this season, his despite his record-breaking freshman and junior seasons.
My problems are with the media coverage of Tebow
And not Tebow himself, whom I think is a great QB and a great role model. I’m pretty sure even Tim Tebow wants the media to shut up.

Agreed
Tebow probably has to shake his head nightly in disbelief of how high ESPN and friends lift him up.
