#19 Eryon Barnett
looks completely out of place. He gets beat every time they throw against him. Newton looks good catching the ball out of the backfield. Looks comfortable out there.
Geez, give the kid a break
Keep in mind he is less than a year away from an ACL tear, and he is a true freshman in his first practice against upper classmen. He’s got plenty of time to heal, work on form and technique, and fill out his frame before we really need to worry about him.
Looks like a bad pre-snap read on someone’s part on the play where Barnett gets beaten at about the 4min. mark. I wonder if that was Barnett’s call or a defensive audible somewhere.
Either way, the receiver burned through the secondary on that play. Was that Malcolm Williams? Looked like #8, but obviously that couldn’t be right. Must be #9.
