So my mother-in-law was on her way back from some neuroscience conference today, and right next to her on the plane was Tony Dungy.  She talked with him a while, enjoyed the conversation, etc. and found out he was a former football coach.  She says she googled him on her iphone to find out who he was while they were in a changeover or something, and she texted me to tell me.  She also took quick iphone pictures of him while he was sleeping, too, which I explained to her is not just a little bit creepy to those of us who don't live in the asylum.  I can only hope it's just to prove she's not making it up.

Weirdest thing: the exact same thing, sans iphone, happened to her a few years back, except with Lynn Swann.
