Even though I live in hell aka oklahoma, normally, I do not pay close attention to what NewsOk has to say about sports... they mostly promote ou and occasionally osu, but there is an interesting article about Jordan Shipley in today's edition. Not sure if I put the link in right...

It's 1:09 pm and ou still sucks.... these last 17 days are DRAGGING BY TOO DAMN SLOW.. I cannot wait til the season is here...

According to WikiAnswers…

“The name Tebow is an anglicized [sic] version of the Flemish name Tibaut. The Tibauts came from what is today Bruges Belgium to the New Amsterdam Colony in the early 17th century. The name was anglicized to the present form (Tebow) sometime after the English coopted the colony in the later part of the same century. The French name Thibault is also a version of the original Frankish name.”

Not sure if they were migrant carpenters or not, but it doesn’t appear for them to be of a Jewish origin or decent. However, by way of biblical grafting, and statement of beheld faith, he would be.
