2009 Slogan: "We Are Texas!"
Saying that the team has moved on from last season's BCS snub, Mack Brown indicated that he chose the slogan, "We Are Texas!" in part to help the team only worry about what they can control -- how they play every week.
Brown has certainly done a good thing trying to distance himself and the team from last fall, pointing out during numerous interviews that the Longhorns lost control of their own destiny by losing to Texas Tech, the perception of most Texas fans at this point, I believe. Certainly the perception of this scribe, at least.
But, frankly, the slogan is a little bit lame and doesn't even really seem to have a strong connection to the BCS snub. A slogan mentioned here that works much better is "Leave No Doubt," a reference to the need to not only win every game, but to blow out all the lesser teams.
Any other suggestions?

Not happy with this one at all.
Motion that the official BON slogan be “leave no doubt”.
Actually would have been fine with “We’re Texas” if only for the Cronkite homage.

OU's slogan should be "less is more"
i.e. 35 is more than 45

I don’t care what the slogan is. I just thank God we’ve got one. Imagine facing all those uncertainties, all those unpredictable variables, without a slogan.

Maybe he read my article in the Eyes of Texas 2009
Titled, yes, “We’re Texas.”
I actually approve of this slogan, for specific reasons I articulated in detail in the article. I think I’ll see about getting a copy of it up on the site.

It's a little to close to "We Are...Marshall!" for me
hey, wait, matthew mcconaughey was in the movie, and he’s a frequently used face for the horns…
