Saying that the team has moved on from last season's BCS snub, Mack Brown indicated that he chose the slogan, "We Are Texas!" in part to help the team only worry about what they can control -- how they play every week. Brown has certainly done a good thing trying to distance himself and the team from last fall, pointing out during numerous interviews that the Longhorns lost control of their own destiny by losing to Texas Tech, the perception of most Texas fans at this point, I believe. Certainly the perception of this scribe, at least. But, frankly, the slogan is a little bit lame and doesn't even really seem to have a strong connection to the BCS snub. A slogan mentioned here that works much better is "Leave No Doubt," a reference to the need to not only win every game, but to blow out all the lesser teams. Any other suggestions?
