New Rivals 100
Texas commits:
Reggie Wilson - #24
Tevin Jackson - #33
Trey Hopkins - #65
Taylor Bible - #83
Chris Jones - #87
Dominic Espinosa - #98
Tevin Jackson jumped from #188 to #33 and gained a star. He apparently dominated at the Gridiron Kings event, while Darius White did not. White dropped to #27 on the list and lost his 5 star status for now.
Other notables:
Jackson Jeffcoat - #5
Jordan Hicks - #21
The OU commitment of Rashod Favors puts them at 23 commitments, while Texas is at 19. Texas still sits atop the team rankings for now with 16 four stars and 3 three stars. What a deep and talented class this could be.

Tevin Jackson?
I think Jackson just jumped 155 spots. He’s still listed as #188 on the 250, which hasn’t been updated. Now, he’s #33 on the 100. Am I missing something?
250 hasn't updated yet
It usually comes out a day or two later I believe. He is up to 33.
I wonder if
Rivals thinks he’ll be going to the Army AA game. It’s getting about that time where all of their players will be gettinga 30 spot bump or so.
rivals vs espn and other recruiting services
Curious – for those in the know in recruiting, which site’s rankings are the most accurate/most credible? I know this opens up a can of worms because you have to wait 4 or more years to really know who ended up being good, just wondering if rivals or another service was considered authoritative.
Scout
Because HornsChamps said so, dammit.

I see....
…… your inferiority complex is acting up again.
--- All roads to the Big-XII Championship lead through OU/RRS. It's not just another game! We're all about championships here. ---
I won’t pretend to be a guy who has anywhere near the time to really gets down in the weeds and scout reels and reels of these HS guys, but I generally agree with Rivals and Scout much more than I do with ESPN/ScoutsInc.

I thought ESPN used Scout?
I had always thought that the ESPN 150 was an arrangment with Scout.com. That is way too confusing. Which service does Tom Lemming work for? Oh wait, I guess I’ll just google that.
I believe ESPN pays Scouts, Inc., not Scout.com.

Year ago Dr. Saturday (then SMQ) tried to answer this emperically
Scout by a nose, then rivals, ESPN notches below if I recall correctly.
proud to swim home
Darius White
I honestly dont care anymore with the likely red shirt of Greg Timmons and the deep class of big fast receivers in the 2011 class. Tevin Jackson looks like he is gonna dominate at every level jus wonder bout early playing time wit Emanuel Acho and Keenan Robinson bein youngins.
I don’t think I’ve seen anything other than speculation, but it’d make more sense to redshirt him than to burn a season of eligibility for what would probably amount to single-digit receptions for the entire year. If something happens, like injuries, or if Timmons shows unique (for the team) abilities in the return game, then taking off the redshirt is fine, but don’t waste eligibility if he’s going to be the fourth receiving option in the second-team offense. Same with Goodwin.
