Good lord...
I should have stuck with my initial score for the Cal-Minnesota game (49-17).
Already 14-0 just 8 minutes in…
By 30 points?
I think Florida might be riding some hype. Sure, they’ll win, but 30 points is a lot to beat a team by.
We'll See
Urban Meyer has been known to run up the score on people that flap their mouth. I don’t think this will be any different. Plus, I think Florida’s 3rd team is has good as Tennessee’s first team. It’s all going to be dependent on if Meyer wants to embarrass Kiffin or not.
Wow...
And to think I started sort of liking Versus after the Wyoming game.
I hope that Third Guy has a good amount of self-esteem.

Yeah, Glenn Parker (among my favorite Chiefs for quite a while) was actually a nice surprise as an announcer, and the network has good picture with good sound. I think they’re on the rise, but man, that’s an amateur mistake.

UNT may have the most fundamentally poor defense of all time
it’s like they never even work on tackling, EVER
Or is Alabama's offense just that good?!

Minnesota making a game out of it now
Cal looks overrated. All we need them to do is be at their best against USC and knock them out.
It's a long way away
but Cal and Minn could make for an interesting back to back in 2015-2016
Should help the Strength of Schedule
and allow us to have a chance at making it to a championship game with one loss assuming there aren’t 2 undefeated teams.
Minnesota's stadium is beautiful.
Guess I’ll have to make it to that game.

I agree
Ever since he made the following bone headed play against Oregon State in 2007, I knew he wasn’t going to amount to anything:
I was actually creeped out by that commercial.
Just a little bit. Scared for the girl’s sake.

Oh hey!
This year is the 50 year anniversary of the last time Cal went to the Rose Bowl. Bless their hearts.
Florida going for it on 4th and 2 from the Tennessee 20
You tell me that doesn’t mean they are going to run up the score and take Kiffin’s head off.
USC didn't start with 3 TDs?
Deplorable.

And yet, with 10 seconds to throw the ball, Corp still almost throws an INT.
One of the only certainties this CFB season

Life isn’t so bad
The day looks promising to start with.
Tenn. playing Florida tough (for now) and Tulsa at least not getting blown away against OU (for now). If only they could both pull the upsets…

You know you might have a crappy td if....
You run ISO on third and 9 in the opponents red zone….
Thank you Mack for not recruiting Jonathon Crompton.

but the OU player runs out to the 2

Is there any coach that gambles as much on 4th down as Pete Carroll?
And with the exception of that national title game against Texas it almost always comes up “7” for him
:-)
Nope. He goes for the knockout
He won’t lose a game because of being too conservative like some teams (cough, Tressel)..
Predictions?
Most likely to go down at the 2:30 time slot.
A. USC (up 10-7 right now)
B. Oklahoma (Winning 10-0 right now)
C. Florida (winning 10-3 right now)
D. UTAH (losing 14-7 to Oregon right now)
E. They will all win.
My brain says E.
But my heart says A, B, and C.

Giving up the chance of kicking a field goal. Didn’t convert. Incomplete pass.
He has 6 picks this season.
Imagine being his backup? And not being allowed to play over that? Yikes. I’m sorry but if Texas looked like this against Tennessee we’d be getting slammed afterwards. 13-7 against a team with that quarterback?

By the way has Tebow thrown a vertical pass the entire game? Ever GD pass he has thrown has been horizontal/screen pass or a gimmick TE screen.
Comparison
Aaron Corp in first career start: 11/17 for 96 yards, no td’s no int’s (5.6 ypa)
Tim Tebow (Heisman winner and demigod, 12/16 for 94 yards, no td’s, 1 INT (5.9 ypa)
i just don’t see Tebow being an NFL qb. Although he is a great runner.
