USC Tumbles to #12
Texas is back up to where we were before Wyoming, with 2 first place votes. Bama, however, ends up with 3. And basically sits in the exact position USC has been occupying behind Texas with total number of votes. Sitting there, just like a spider....
Miami leaps from 9 to 20, and likely to the Top 5 if/when they beat OU.

Oh, and OSU is still ranked above Houston in both polls.

I don't think we have to worry bout Bama
Don’t they play FLA in the SEC championship game if they both make it undefeated? not even sure if they play this season either
exactly, even if we fall to numner 3 behind UF and Bama, the SEC title game will knock one of em out.
- behind those two is essentially 2b.
Is it 2b or not 2b? That is the question.

Poll voting double standard
ESPN.com’s Adam Rittenberg has an excellent post on the apparent disparity in the way the voters have treated OU and OSU in the weekly polls.
Ohio State has seen its national approval rating steadily decline since the 2007 BCS national title game, the first of six consecutive losses against top 5 opponents. Much of the heat directed toward Columbus is warranted. Ohio State has disappointed the national media on the game’s biggest stage several times, and despite a series of strong recruiting classes, the team has underachieved in several areas, namely along the offensive line.
But another national powerhouse deserves the same treatment. Another big-name has been just as disappointing in big games, if not worse. And yet that team continues to escape the hate. Meet the Oklahoma Sooners. They’re apparently made out of Teflon.

More needs to be made of this
Sadly, though, the national media has an erection for all things Stoops.
