Texas trying to schedule USC
It is not until 2019, which seems really really far away. But something to look forward to right?

That sounds fantastic if it happens
I wonder what the state of the two programs will be in a decade.

That would be awesome! I hope it happens.

By that time
It is likely that both Mack and Carrol are long gone. We have no idea if that game will be as big as it sounds now, but it’s cool to think about.

Mack would be 68, and Carroll would be…68.
Both could still be coaching, if they and the university see eye to eye on that issue.

I never would have guess that Carroll was as old as Mack

I’m with you. I was as surprised as you when I looked it up. There’s definitely a difference between how those two guys have aged. They’re both greyhairs, but both genetics and how they live their lives can probably play a role in how they show their aging. Carroll seems less mature and has a younger face. Mack’s more folksy. Could be the difference between California life and southern life.

It would almost certainly be a big game
With how big college football has become, and the budgets of both UT and USC ensuring that both schools are putting the best possible product out there, I doubt that either school will be “slumping” anytime in the next decade or two.
If you're so sure of what it ain't, how about telling us what it am!
