Who too root for?
I’m torn, I am a fan of Sneed but all top 10 teams must loose.
I think this is an easy call
All undefeated teams need to lose.
Root for South Carolina

On the flip side . . .
. . . if you could guarantee that we’d go undefeated, I think I’d like to see Ole Miss emerge from the SEC more so than anyone else.

ESPNDallas.com
Just saw the ad for the launch of the ESPN Dallas-specific website.
When similar sites have been launched in other cities, the on-screen graphic has shown players from all the major sports (Boston’s had a Red Sox, a Bruin, a Patriot and a Celtic.)
For Dallas? Tony Romo, Jerry Jones, Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford.
Yep, us dumb Texans only like football.

Or..
to put it another way, we smart Texans like only football.

Wow. people still go to ESPN for sports?
I usually tune into their channel for the games and the final scores.
In-VINCE-able.

Jerry Jones?
why don’t they just put up Mark Cuban up there? I think it’s dumb to put an owner (no matter how famous) on the front sports page. Why not Tim Duncan, or even Dirk Nowitski?

While I do love the fact there is a game on Thursday night
This game is lacking entertainment. The most exciting play has been the punter from SC making a TD saving tackle.

Can we make the next enemy of the nation Lou Holtz?
I nominate that jackass Notre Dome homer for sheer stupidity and the fact that even as a bubbling mouth breathing simpleton can he earn six figures and have people kiss his ass like he’s a lovable old man.
Dr. Lou indeed.
Your tongue can't repel flavor of that magnitude!!
I agree...
I have to walk out of the room or mute the tv when the Dr Lou starts his rantings…and I attended the U of Arkansas when he was the Head Coach!
I kinda like the Landry Jones hype
Let them beat up the Idaho States of the world and come in flying high, we’ll kick ’em in Dallas
They promote him like an all-world QB
When he’s only started against 3rd world teams.
Severed legs are the ultimate stocking stuffers- M.Headburg
It was a bus
Carroll threw him under it.
Severed legs are the ultimate stocking stuffers- M.Headburg
What happened to Mitch Mustain?
How bad must he be for Carroll not to have put him in against UW?

4-14 passing for Jevan
Yikes. Ole Miss just looks like a poorly coached team. Like Houston Nutt is coaching them or something.
Is Ole Miss playing in Wyoming?
Sneed is overthrowing alot.
Severed legs are the ultimate stocking stuffers- M.Headburg
that is one thing...
….that I recall about him during his stay here. I was upset during the K-state game, but figured it was b/c he didn’t have game reps, but there was no excuse last night

Saw this one coming...
…especially after Memphis gave them a game in the first half. That final score from that game is deceiving; they got it from turnovers in the fourth quarter.
In-VINCE-able.
not much exitement
I don’t think I have seen an exiting sec game yet. Volunteers vs gators was boring also. Eh, I do love watching football. Some thursdays and fridays. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I’m still not satisfied
by Javi on Sep 24, 2009 9:32 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
you still dont feel it
That exitement. At least they are still in it

Interested to see how Spurrier approaches this next drive.
Ole Miss looks like they may have found their offense. You don’t want to get too conservative.
by Hookem4life84 on Sep 24, 2009 9:41 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
So if Miss pulls this out after an abysmal first three quarters...
What’s the over-under the ESPN will be on Jevans jock?
Severed legs are the ultimate stocking stuffers- M.Headburg
ditto
Being conservative usually makes it harder to win without that offensive spark
by Javi on Sep 24, 2009 9:43 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
I disagree.
Throwing every play while you’re up 13 points in the fourth quarter is giving Ole Miss all the time to come back. They should have been running the ball more, at least take out 2-3 minutes per drive. Instead, they’re barely taking any time off the clock.
In-VINCE-able.
by iamjackburton on Sep 24, 2009 9:44 PM CDT up reply actions
It's easy to second guess
Those plays were fairly short routes, that should have been completed.
by Hookem4life84 on Sep 24, 2009 9:48 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions
Stupid calls by Spurrier.
Throwing when they should be running.
In-VINCE-able.
by iamjackburton on Sep 24, 2009 9:45 PM CDT up reply actions
They threw five times and didn't get squat, no time off the clock.
They ran once and got 8 years. Spurrier is an idiot.
In-VINCE-able.
He'll be the ol 'Tard Coach
if he keeps telling Garcia to throw here…
In-VINCE-able.
by iamjackburton on Sep 24, 2009 9:52 PM CDT up reply actions
It’s a very rare thing for me to root for Spurrier, but now that he’s coaching neither the Redskins nor the Gators, it’s a lot easier.
Go big, Ol’ Ball Coach. See if you can control things with Giles.

Nothin’ like watching Nutt get slapped in the face by a bunch of ’Cacks.
by burntorangehorn on Sep 24, 2009 10:06 PM CDT up reply actions
Love that SEC lovefest. The ‘Cacks beat NC State in the ugliest game ever, lose to Georgia, and beat an overrated Ole Miss, and they’re a top-15 team? Pfft.
Hey, they’re so great, why even bother dropping Ole Miss? We could probably squeeze a few more SEC teams into the top ten.
by burntorangehorn on Sep 24, 2009 10:09 PM CDT reply actions
That's 4 weeks of top 5 teams dropping.
OU, tOSU, USC, Ole Miss
Sweet. I didn't even take the points on SC.
Doubled my money by taking straight up. Heh heh.
In-VINCE-able.
Erin Andrews is Hot But...
I’d kill myself if I had to listen to that voice for more than 3 hours a week.
In-VINCE-able.
Seriously?

I honestly don’t see it, man. Are you playing a joke on us all?
by burntorangehorn on Sep 25, 2009 7:14 AM CDT up reply actions
What was Snead's line for the night?
“PROBABLY THE #1 QB IN THE DRAFT” – what a joke
Do you disagree? Who would you say is a better pro QB prospect at this point?
by burntorangehorn on Sep 25, 2009 7:15 AM CDT up reply actions
if Matthew Stafford can go #1..
…w/ pretty much the same play, I don’t doubt Snead could be the #1 QB to go.
by vy til i die on Sep 25, 2009 12:56 PM CDT up reply actions
actually
Stafford had prototype size and a cannon for an arm
Snead doesn’t have the arm, nor does he have anything close to the production Stafford had. While I do think Stafford’s development at Georgia left a lot to be desired, he was ten times the QB Snead ever thought about being.
Associative Properties that make our conference look lame
Alabama>VA Tech>Nebraska
Miami>Florida State>BYU>OU
But I am very happy Ole Miss lost. I thought they stunk before this game. Then again, I thought SCAR stunk too. This was a battle of lame-o’s. Unfortunately this game is only going to go down in media circles as “the SEC just beating up on each other”
That’s the meme. When it’s a .500 school in the Big 12 or Pac 10 knocking off a top-five conference foe, the top-five team was overrated. When SC knocks off Ole Miss, or Ole Miss knocks off Florida, it’s just another example of SEC depth and beating up on each other.
by burntorangehorn on Sep 25, 2009 7:17 AM CDT up reply actions
So my friend.
has always thought that Snead should have won the starting position over colt..wonder if he’s feeling the same way now lol.
