ESPN's Anti-OU Smear Campaign Uncovered
Don't know how I stumbled upon this, but it's worth a chuckle to see how one delusional OU blogger caught 4 examples of ESPN burning the Sooners for not giving more attention to Landry Jones historic performance against a Conference USA runner-up.

My favorite part of that...
was when he claimed anti-OU bias because Kirk Herbsteit didn’t talk about Sam Bradford at all during a game in which OU was not playing. BIAS!!!

Every fan of every teams feels disrespected
ESPN said this, ESPN said that..blah blah blah.
I am pretty ESPN has not “facemasked” this year’s team, but why are OU fans looking for respect from ESPN, anyways? They are 2-1 with wins over Idaho St. and Tulsa, and their loss came against a BYU team which got destroyed by Florida St. at home. The offensive line is horrible, and Bradford is out with an injury, although it looks like Stoops is trying to kill his NFL career by rushing him back for the Miami game.

Who was playing Saturday Night on ESPN?
Herbie did a great job. He never said ou sucks one time. Amazing restraint.

The meth in Oklahoma must be some kind of sweet
Aside from some of the obvious and pathetic things mentioned already:
1.) I can remember a redshirt freshman throwing six touchdown passes as recently as 2006… COLT MCCOY against Baylor for crying out loud. Clearly the reason you don’t remember this is because of ESPN’s media bias against UT. If they had not been biased against us, Colt would have his mug on the newly-circulated 6 dollar bill.
2.) I love this quote:
In his overlapping performance, Jones completed 25 of 37 for 336 yards and two interceptions. He joined Luke McCown of Louisiana Tech (2000 against UL-Lafayette) and Bob Hoernschemeyer, a tailback, of all positions, who also threw six for Indiana (1943 against Nebraska). Two words: Single Wing. Google it.
Love me some stupid people.

Thanks for sharing
This was fantastic. Of all the nerve, Herbstreit talking about Colt McCoy more than Landry Jones during the Texas game. Checked out the dude’s bio:
By high school, it was obvious Bryan didn’t receive much fruit from the tree of athletic ability. So he turned to sports journalism. Now, after a degree from the University of Texas and two careers in the field of helping others, he’s returned to throw some light onto sports writing. As a side gig, he provides proofreading and editing services.
That dude should have to give his degree back. I’m embarrassed.

He went to Texas?
WOW. Unbelievable. I guess they didn’t require Rhetoric and Composition when he was there.
