Jai Lucas to give up scholarship for 09-10
I don't know if this has been posted before, but I know people had questions about how scholarships were going to work out with such a large team.

good to hear that john lucas
was not taken by surprise, and had no problems with it.

i dont get it, so as long as you have players paying to play for a team, you can have as many as you want to play?
can someone explain this to me?

There is a scholarship limit,
Not a player limit. This is awesome news. Scholarship crisis averted. Hands down the deepest team in America.

Nebraska
If you are Nebraska, it seems you can just ask the NCAA for another scholarship. It turns out Sadler went to an NCAA seminar and was given bad info about eligibility of a German recruit. Since he’s eligible after all, Nebraska gets an extra scholarship. (They do have to redshirt someone though.)
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.
