Ken Norton Jr. to accompany Carroll to Seattle
This could have a huge impact on recruiting, if not this year then certainly next. Norton, who Rivals lists as lead recruiter for many of the gems of USC's 2010 class (including Kyle Prater, Robert Woods, Dion Bailey), has long been considered one of college football's finest closers, bringing credibility as both a top-tier coach and an elite NFL talent.

Sounds like great news to me
Hopefully it helps us recruit better. The Pac 10 is almost looking like the equivalent of the ACC. USC could now be more like Virginia Tech, Oregon would be Georgia Tech, Oregon State-Miami, Clemson or BC equivalent to Cal or UCLA etc.
He was supposedly one of the biggest draws for Jeffcoat
So while it’s not certain that this eliminates USC as a contender for Jeffcoat, I’d be extremely surprised if he were still seriously considering them.
Honestly, unless Jim moves to another school, I really like UT’s chances at landing his son. He’d definitely be great in burnt orange.

Also Sounds Like an "Abandon Ship" Move of Desperation
NCAA has an opening to heavy levy the Trojans and the ship is sinking.
