Was there any news about who took over at ASU?
Baseball seems so long ago and can’t get here soon enough, so who has been our major losses beside Austin Wood and Brandon Belt
Schedule question
I just checked the schedule to see if there might be any games in Southern California so that I could go see them in person. I discovered that not only does Texas not visit SoCal but also that Texas doesn’t even leave the state until April. Isn’t that a bit unusual not to have at least one strong non-conference road trip early on?
"Texas played without its best player for nearly 56 minutes. There's an asterisk." -- Ivan Maisel, ESPN.com
I'd say so
I remember we went out to Stanford last year early, and I feel like we leave the state once or twice early to test the waters.
Maybe having an experienced team doesn’t need it so much? How early do we make our schedules? (IE football where it is years in advance or basketball where it is closer to a year to year basis?)
We have a home and home with Stanford, just happens to be in Austin (been playing for years). I believe the schedule is done kinda like basketball, there are games we are goin to at and others we schedule a year or less in advance. It would be nice to make a trip out of the state, but the odds heavilly favor the Horns only leaving the state for Omaha, so it’s not too bad to not have a ton of road experience.

Thanks 40A S
Top notch information! Pumped for the season.
Offense should have more power but has more holes than last year, especially early in the year while the newbies are getting up to speed. A lot of this year will revolve around keyes replacing belt at 1b

Keyes will be fine
He’s a great athlete and I’m damn excited for the season to start. Moreso than any other non-football UT sport.
Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
Stoked!
Can’t wait for the previews. Thanks 40AS.
