No harm, but just a couple recommendations — Do a better job than I often do of proofreading before you post something. If you do make a mistake, take advantage of edit function as vy mentioned. If it is premium content behind a pay wall, put a ($) after it to let people know they may not be able to access it. If it’s information from the Orangebloods message board or War Room, try to avoid posting about it unless the information is confirmed from another source. Thanks for reading!

Sorry about that, just my first time to see news somewhere besides here so I was anxious to post it. Hate to sound like a dummy but I got confused with it. I’ll definitely try a better job next time.

Great job

I think it is interesting that UH is still in there. It is like reading tea leaves, but that must mean that his dad is not going to OU for the vacant DE assistant coaching job.

Not to nit pick

but the update might read ‘Jackson to announce Friday at 10 a.m.’ rather than ‘no announcement on Sunday’. Or I could just drink more coffee to make it more clear.

Someone said

They saw him in an OU shirt today in a recruiting something or other, but I don’t believe them. I figure he is keeping his choice close to the vest like his whole recruitment to this point.

Plus I think some blogger or news person would have gotten wind of that if it was true and ran with it like journalists usually do.

Sister

I wonder how she plays into this. They are extremely close and as expected pushing OU. Jackson is a grown man and can make his own decisions but family has to weigh on him somewhat, just like Scott to Colorado supposedly did.

If I had a twin sister

and if we were both star athletes, and if we both wanted to go to the same school, then wouldn’t we announce our commitment to that school together and celebrate? I still hope that he is a Texas lean.

I tend to agree

Not sure if recruiting of womens bball and football are at the same time, but I hope you are right!!!!

No announcement sunday

http://www.txcn.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/012810dnspojeffcoat.be2205d8.html

Previous reports had Jackson Jeffcoat planning to announce his final decision Sunday night on Fox 4, but Jim Jeffcoat said that’s no longer the plan and that his son doesn’t have a designated day selected to announce his decision before national signing day next Wednesday

Yep. Kinda figured that. . .

because Papa Jim’s job status could still change. IMO, Stoopsie hires Papa and Son, surprise, signs on. Way it goes. I still like our class

Agreed about class

and sadly agree about Papa/Son combo too. Time is running short though so we shall see soon enough

Until Jackson himself opens his own mouth

I will not believe anything else that anyone says, reguardless if they are his brothers cousins uncles ex-wifes friends former dog owners mother-in-law. The basketball team gives me enough stress right now, I cant deal with anymore supposedlies. That is all. :)

I'm Getting Bad Feel

OU gets last shot – then the date gets pushed out? Sounds like a former Texas lean with cold feet.

Announcement Friday @ 10am

Jackson will be announcing tomorrow at 10am. Hicks will be doing the same. Don’t you think this bodes well for Texas.

little known fact….Jackson’s brother also went to OU, but only for year. He is at a small school playing bball now. Still his family all went to OU. I hope he can withstand other people’s opinion’s and go with his gut, which I hope/believe is Texas.

I hope all this shit with the talking heads doesn't blow up in our face!

Kind of like those situations when you hear someone like Musberger or whoever say they have never lost a home game in the month of January or were in the 9th inning and he still has a no hitter going on, next thing you know the batter hits one out of the park.
