It's been rough being a Chiefs fan recently, but it was fantastic to watch a couple of star Longhorns team up to destroy Denver today.
Jamaal Charles: 25 rush for 259yds., 2TD
Derrick Johnson: 5 tackles, 2 interceptions for touchdowns, 2 passes defensed
This was just about the most amazing display by a couple of Longhorns in one game I've seen at the NFL level. Had Charles not been pulled a little over halfway through the fourth quarter, he might've had a shot at the NFL single-game rushing record of 295yds., set by none other than Adrian Peterson. As it is, he just shattered Larry Johnson's team record of 211yds., and Derrick Johnson became the first Chief to ever return two interceptions for touchdowns in the same game.
Congratulations to Jamaal Charles and Derrick Johnson!
